I love idioms and proverbs, and so do my students.
Whether you are a beginner or a fluent Italian speaker, you should learn some as soon as possible for many reasons. They are fun, useful, and they will help you to speak more naturally.
I’ve put together a small list of everyday Italian expressions related to “time”, with a basic translation and some examples. The examples are only in Italian, the webcast is at natural speed. The sentences are not that difficult but I made the listening task a bit harder than usual. Try to understand and write your own sentences using the same idioms.
Thanks for reading. I hope this was useful. Please try the quiz and win a Skype class. Alla prossima!
