Die drei wichtigsten sind <em>volere<\/em> (wollen), <em>potere<\/em> (k\u00f6nnen, d\u00fcrfen) und <em>dovere<\/em> (m\u00fcssen, sollen). Sie funktionieren grammatikalisch fast wie im Deutschen, mit zwei Unterschieden: sie sind im Pr\u00e4sens unregelm\u00e4\u00dfig, und im Passato Prossimo richtet sich die Wahl des Hilfsverbs nach dem nachfolgenden Infinitiv.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Ein Beispiel zur Einstimmung: <em>Devo passare in farmacia.<\/em> bedeutet \u00abIch muss kurz in die Apotheke\u00bb. <em>Posso lasciare la macchina qui dieci minuti?<\/em> hei\u00dft \u00abDarf ich das Auto zehn Minuten hier stehen lassen?\u00bb. <em>Vorrei prenotare un tavolo per stasera.<\/em> ist die h\u00f6fliche Form von \u00abIch m\u00f6chte einen Tisch f\u00fcr heute Abend reservieren\u00bb. Wer sie sicher beherrschen will, \u00fcbt sie am besten zusammen, weil die Grundmuster \u00e4hnlich sind: doppelter Konsonant, Vokalwechsel im Stamm, dritte Person Plural mit Endung <em>-ono<\/em> ohne weitere Regeln. Erstens: <em>volere<\/em> wechselt zwischen <em>vogli-<\/em> und <em>vu-<\/em> (io voglio, tu vuoi). Zweitens: <em>potere<\/em> hat nur eine echte Stammvariante mit Doppel-S in der ersten Person Singular (<em>posso<\/em>), w\u00e4hrend die anderen Formen vom Stamm <em>pot-<\/em> ableiten. Drittens: <em>dovere<\/em> hat die literarische Variante <em>debbo \/ debbono<\/em> f\u00fcr 1sg und 3pl, im modernen Standard heute aber praktisch nur in formellen Texten.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Beachte den Akzent auf <em>pu\u00f2<\/em>: das ist die einzige italienische Verbform, die in der dritten Person Singular Pr\u00e4sens einen geschriebenen Akzent tr\u00e4gt. Im Italienischen wird <em>potere<\/em> f\u00fcr zwei deutsche Verben verwendet, und <em>volere<\/em> hat eine zweite Bedeutung \u00abbrauchen, erfordern\u00bb, die im Tedesco unscharf r\u00fcberkommt. Mit etwas \u00dcbung wird das Muster schnell vertraut.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-h3-modali-31 gb-headline-text\">Volere<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Bedeutung: \u00abwollen, m\u00f6chten, brauchen\u00bb. Im direkten Sprechakt klingt <em>voglio<\/em> sehr bestimmt, fast schroff, im Restaurant oder am Schalter; deshalb verwenden Italiener im h\u00f6flichen Register lieber das Konditional <em>vorrei<\/em>. Im Sinn von \u00aberfordern\u00bb braucht es kein h\u00f6fliches Korrelat: <em>Questa torta vuole due ore di forno.<\/em> bedeutet \u00abDiese Torte braucht zwei Stunden im Ofen\u00bb. Wer aufmerksam zuh\u00f6rt, erkennt es bald in Gespr\u00e4chen.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Beispiel aus dem Alltag: <em>Vogliamo cambiare i biglietti del treno per sabato.<\/em> \u00abWir wollen die Zugtickets auf Samstag umtauschen\u00bb. Direkt, klar, am Schalter aber besser umformulieren: <em>Vorremmo cambiare i biglietti\u2026<\/em> Mehr dazu im Abschnitt zur H\u00f6flichkeit. Genau diese kleinen Details machen den Unterschied im Sprachgef\u00fchl.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-h3-modali-32 gb-headline-text\">Potere<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Bedeutung: sowohl \u00abk\u00f6nnen\u00bb (M\u00f6glichkeit, physische F\u00e4higkeit, Erlaubnis) als auch \u00abd\u00fcrfen\u00bb (formelle Erlaubnis). Der Kontext entscheidet. <em>Posso entrare?<\/em> hei\u00dft \u00abDarf ich reinkommen?\u00bb, <em>Non posso venire stasera, ho un impegno.<\/em> hei\u00dft \u00abIch kann heute Abend nicht, ich habe einen Termin\u00bb. Wer eine erlernte F\u00e4higkeit ausdr\u00fccken will, braucht hingegen <em>sapere<\/em>: <em>So nuotare<\/em> bedeutet \u00abIch kann schwimmen, weil ich es gelernt habe\u00bb, nicht <em>Posso nuotare<\/em>, das nach Erlaubnis klingt.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Diese Trennung sapere\u2194potere bereitet vielen tedescofoni Probleme, weil das Deutsche beide Konzepte mit \u00abk\u00f6nnen\u00bb abdeckt. Faustregel: bei <strong>Lernf\u00e4higkeit<\/strong> (Schwimmen, Klavierspielen, Sprachen, Autofahren) immer <em>sapere<\/em>. Bei <strong>M\u00f6glichkeit oder Erlaubnis<\/strong> immer <em>potere<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-h3-modali-33 gb-headline-text\">Dovere<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Bedeutung: \u00abm\u00fcssen, sollen\u00bb \u2014 Verpflichtung, Notwendigkeit. Im Italienischen wird <em>dovere<\/em> auch f\u00fcr h\u00f6fliche Aufforderungen verwendet, oft im Konditional <em>dovresti<\/em>: <em>Dovresti riposarti un po&#8216;.<\/em> \u00abDu solltest dich ein bisschen ausruhen\u00bb. Eine zweite Bedeutung ist \u00abschulden\u00bb: <em>Quanto ti devo per il caff\u00e8?<\/em> \u00abWie viel schulde ich dir f\u00fcr den Kaffee?\u00bb. In dieser zweiten Bedeutung folgt kein Infinitiv, sondern ein direktes Objekt.<\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-h2-modali-4 gb-headline-text\" id=\"passato\">Passato prossimo: essere o avere?<br><em>Hilfsverb-Wahl in der Vergangenheit<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Hier liegt die h\u00e4ufigste Stolperstelle f\u00fcr DACH-Lernende auf A2-Niveau. Die Regel lautet: <strong>das Hilfsverb des Modalverbs richtet sich nach dem nachfolgenden Infinitiv.<\/strong> Ist der Infinitiv ein <em>essere<\/em>-Verb (gehen, kommen, ankommen, bleiben, geboren werden), nimmt auch das Modalverb <em>essere<\/em>. Ist der Infinitiv ein <em>avere<\/em>-Verb (essen, lesen, kaufen, sprechen), nimmt das Modalverb <em>avere<\/em>. Beim verbi modali italiano hilft es, mit kleinen Schritten zu beginnen.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Vergleiche: <em>Sono dovuta andare dal medico.<\/em> \u00abIch musste zum Arzt\u00bb (eine Frau spricht \u2014 Konkordanz mit dem Subjekt). <em>Ho dovuto mangiare in fretta.<\/em> \u00abIch musste schnell essen\u00bb. Im ersten Fall ist <em>andare<\/em> ein <em>essere<\/em>-Verb, also Hilfsverb <em>essere<\/em> + Konkordanz Partizip im Femininum (<em>dovuta<\/em>). Maskulin Singular <em>dovuto<\/em>, feminin Singular <em>dovuta<\/em>, maskulin Plural <em>dovuti<\/em>, feminin Plural <em>dovute<\/em>. Wer <em>voglio<\/em> sagt, klingt wie ein Kind, das ein Eis verlangt: korrekt, aber unangemessen direkt. Ersetze in solchen Situationen <em>voglio<\/em> durch <em>vorrei<\/em>, <em>puoi<\/em> durch <em>potresti<\/em>, <em>devi<\/em> durch <em>dovresti<\/em>. Die Bedeutung verschiebt sich von der direkten Aussage zur h\u00f6flichen Bitte oder zum Vorschlag.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Vergleich an einem konkreten Beispiel. An der Sportelle bei der Post sagt man besser nicht <em>Voglio spedire questo pacco a Bari.<\/em> sondern <em>Vorrei spedire questo pacco a Bari, per favore.<\/em> Der erste Satz funktioniert grammatikalisch, klingt aber forsch. Beide werden t\u00e4glich von Italienern gesprochen.<\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-h2-modali-6 gb-headline-text\" id=\"pronomi\">Posizione dei pronomi atoni<br><em>Stellung der unbetonten Pronomen mit Modalverben<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Bei der Konstruktion Modalverb + Infinitiv haben unbetonte Pronomen (<em>lo, la, li, le, mi, ti, ci, vi, ne, gli<\/em>) zwei m\u00f6gliche Stellungen: vor dem Modalverb oder am Ende des Infinitivs als Anh\u00e4ngsel.
