Die <strong>Kardinalzahlen<\/strong> (uno, due, tre, quattro \u2026) z\u00e4hlen die Anzahl: <em>tre libri<\/em>, drei B\u00fccher. Die <strong>Ordinalzahlen<\/strong> (primo, secondo, terzo, quarto \u2026) bestimmen dagegen die Reihenfolge in einer Serie: <em>il terzo libro<\/em>, das dritte Buch. die Italianistik (<em>Grammatik der italienischen Sprache<\/em>,) beschreibt die Ordinalzahlen als geschlossene Liste der prim\u00e4ren Formen von 1 bis 10 und eine offene Liste der abgeleiteten Formen mit dem Suffix <em>-esimo<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anders als die Kardinalzahlen verhalten sich die Ordinalzahlen wie Adjektive der a\/o-Klasse. Das bedeutet: sie \u00e4ndern ihre Endung nach Geschlecht (maskulin oder feminin) und nach Zahl (Singular oder Plural). Aus <em>primo<\/em> wird <em>prima<\/em>, <em>primi<\/em>, <em>prime<\/em>, je nachdem, was sie modifizieren. Aus <em>undici<\/em> (elf) wird <em>undicesimo<\/em>, aus <em>venti<\/em> (zwanzig) wird <em>ventesimo<\/em>, aus <em>cento<\/em> (hundert) wird <em>centesimo<\/em>, aus <em>mille<\/em> (tausend) wird <em>millesimo<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diese Regel funktioniert auch f\u00fcr zusammengesetzte Zahlen, allerdings mit einer kleinen T\u00fccke. Bei den Zehnern, die mit der Einer-Zahl kombiniert werden, bleibt der Endvokal der Einer-Zahl erhalten, wenn er nicht mit dem -e des Suffixes kollidiert. Aus <em>ventitr\u00e9<\/em> wird <em>ventitreesimo<\/em> (mit drei e), aus <em>ventisei<\/em> wird <em>ventiseiesimo<\/em> (auch <em>ventiseesimo<\/em> ist m\u00f6glich). Diese sind heute fast nur in historischen Kontexten in Gebrauch.<\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-h2-verw gb-headline-text\" id=\"verwendung\">Verwendung der Ordinalzahlen: Geschlecht, Numerus, Position<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Die wichtigste praktische Regel ist die <strong>Kongruenz<\/strong>. Die Ordinalzahl muss in Geschlecht und Zahl mit dem Substantiv \u00fcbereinstimmen, das sie begleitet. <em>Il primo giorno<\/em> (mask. sg.), <em>la prima volta<\/em> (femm. sg.), <em>i primi giorni<\/em> (mask. pl.), <em>le prime volte<\/em> (femm. pl.). Diese Endungen \u00e4ndern sich genau wie bei jedem Adjektiv der a\/o-Klasse. die Italianistik betont, dass diese Regel ohne Ausnahme gilt, sowohl f\u00fcr die zehn prim\u00e4ren Formen als auch f\u00fcr die abgeleiteten auf <em>-esimo<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Was die <strong>Position im Satz<\/strong> betrifft, stehen Ordinalzahlen in der Regel <strong>vor<\/strong> dem Substantiv: <em>il terzo capitolo<\/em>, <em>la quinta sinfonia<\/em>, <em>il diciottesimo compleanno<\/em>. Es gibt jedoch zwei wichtige Ausnahmen, in denen die Ordinalzahl <strong>nach<\/strong> dem Substantiv steht: bei Herrschernamen (P\u00e4psten, K\u00f6nigen) und in literarischen Werkbenennungen (Akte, B\u00e4nde). Bei Eigennamen von Herrschern und in Werkbezeichnungen steht die Ordinalzahl <strong>nach<\/strong> dem Substantiv und \u00fcblicherweise als r\u00f6mische Ziffer ohne Punkt. So schreibt man <em>Papa Francesco I<\/em> (lies: <em>Papa Francesco primo<\/em>), <em>Re Vittorio Emanuele II<\/em> (<em>secondo<\/em>), <em>Carlo V<\/em> (<em>quinto<\/em>). die Standardgrammatik notieren auch, dass anders als im Englischen oder Deutschen kein bestimmter Artikel davor steht: <em>Giovanni XXIII<\/em>, nicht <em>il Giovanni XXIII<\/em>. Bei Akten und B\u00e4nden funktioniert es analog: <em>Atto primo<\/em>, <em>Tomo quarto<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zweitens: <strong>Stockwerke<\/strong>. Im Italienischen hei\u00dft das Erdgeschoss <em>il piano terra<\/em> (kein Ordinalzahl!), und ab da geht es weiter mit <em>il primo piano<\/em> (erster Stock), <em>il secondo piano<\/em> (zweiter Stock) und so weiter. Achtung: das deutsche &#8222;erster Stock&#8220; entspricht dem italienischen <em>primo piano<\/em>, weil beide Sprachen das Erdgeschoss separat z\u00e4hlen. Bei Aufz\u00fcgen findest du auch die abgek\u00fcrzte Schreibung mit Ziffern und kleinem hochgestellten Buchstaben: <em>1\u00b0, 2\u00b0, 3\u00b0<\/em> f\u00fcr maskulin (<em>piano<\/em>), <em>1\u00aa, 2\u00aa, 3\u00aa<\/em> f\u00fcr feminin (<em>classe, fila<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drittens: <strong>prima ist nicht primo<\/strong>. Das Wort <em>prima<\/em> ist als Adverb zu verstehen und bedeutet &#8222;zuerst, vorher&#8220;, nicht &#8222;die Erste&#8220;. <em>Prima vado a fare colazione<\/em> hei\u00dft &#8222;zuerst gehe ich fr\u00fchst\u00fccken&#8220;. Wenn du dagegen &#8222;der erste&#8220; meinst, brauchst du <em>il primo<\/em> (mask.) oder <em>la prima<\/em> (femm.). Die Verwechslung ist h\u00e4ufig, weil im Deutschen &#8222;erst&#8220; und &#8222;zuerst&#8220; verwandt sind. Im Italienischen sind die Funktionen klar getrennt: <em>primo \/ prima<\/em> = Ordinalzahl mit Substantiv; <em>prima<\/em> allein = temporales Adverb.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-ms3-ord\">\n<p>\ud83c\udfaf <strong>Mini-Aufgabe:<\/strong> Korrigiere die S\u00e4tze.
