L&#8217;explication la plus r\u00e9pandue remonte \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9poque des standardistes t\u00e9l\u00e9phoniques : lorsque l&#8217;op\u00e9rateur \u00e9tablissait la connexion entre deux abonn\u00e9s, il annon\u00e7ait \u00ab&nbsp;Pronto !&nbsp;\u00bb pour signaler que la ligne \u00e9tait pr\u00eate. Les usagers ont repris ce signal et il est devenu le mot de d\u00e9crochage standard en Italie. Aujourd&#8217;hui, un si\u00e8cle plus tard, chaque Italiano qui r\u00e9pond \u00e0 son t\u00e9l\u00e9phone prononce ce mot sans y penser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce qui surprend les francophones est la forme : <strong>pronto est invariable<\/strong>. Dans un contexte professionnel, pr\u00e9f\u00e9rez \u00ab&nbsp;Chi parla ?&nbsp;\u00bb ou encore \u00ab&nbsp;Chi la desidera ?&nbsp;\u00bb (registre formel de bureau : \u00ab&nbsp;qui demandez-vous ?&nbsp;\u00bb).<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le registre formel : Lei au t\u00e9l\u00e9phone<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quand vous appelez un bureau, un cabinet m\u00e9dical, un service client ou une boutique que vous ne connaissez pas, le <strong>t\u00e9l\u00e9phone en italien<\/strong> exige le registre formel.
