Ensuite, <em>tre<\/em> lorsqu&#8217;il est la derni\u00e8re syllabe d&#8217;un nombre compos\u00e9 prend un accent : <em>ventitr\u00e9<\/em>, <em>trentatr\u00e9<\/em>, <em>quarantatr\u00e9<\/em>. Pensez \u00e0 l&#8217;accent sur le <em>\u00e9<\/em> final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Giulia, libraire \u00e0 Lucca, note sur son carnet de commandes : <em>undici romanzi, dodici saggi e tre atlanti geografici<\/em>. Quand <em>venti<\/em> (vingt) pr\u00e9c\u00e8de <em>uno<\/em> (un) ou <em>otto<\/em> (huit), la voyelle finale de <em>venti<\/em> tombe. On \u00e9crit donc <em>ventuno<\/em> et <em>ventotto<\/em>, et non <em>ventiuno<\/em> ni <em>ventiotto<\/em>. Cette r\u00e8gle s&#8217;applique \u00e0 toutes les dizaines : <em>trentuno<\/em>, <em>trentotto<\/em>, <em>quarantuno<\/em>, <em>sessantotto<\/em>, <em>settantuno<\/em>, <em>ottantotto<\/em>, <em>novantuno<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En fran\u00e7ais, vous \u00e9crivez <em>vingt et un<\/em> et <em>vingt-huit<\/em> sans rien supprimer. En italien, la collision de deux voyelles se r\u00e9sout par \u00e9lision phon\u00e9tique. Le fran\u00e7ais standard a h\u00e9rit\u00e9 d&#8217;un syst\u00e8me vigesimal (base 20) venu des Normands et des Celtes, qui a surv\u00e9cu dans soixante-dix, quatre-vingts et quatre-vingt-dix. Les locuteurs belges et suisses qui utilisent d\u00e9j\u00e0 <em>septante<\/em> et <em>nonante<\/em> reconna\u00eetront imm\u00e9diatement les formes italiennes : <em>settanta<\/em> proche de <em>septante<\/em>, <em>novanta<\/em> proche de <em>nonante<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour <strong>compter en italien<\/strong> de 21 \u00e0 99, le principe est identique \u00e0 celui du fran\u00e7ais pour 21 \u00e0 69 : dizaine plus unit\u00e9, soud\u00e9s en un seul mot. Pas besoin de calcul : septante-deux et trente-six, coll\u00e9s ensemble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"centaines\">Les centaines : cento, duecento, trecento<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 partir de 100, les <strong>chiffres italiens<\/strong> se construisent comme en fran\u00e7ais, avec quelques simplifications bienvenues. <em>Cento<\/em> (100) est invariable : on ne dit jamais <em>un cento<\/em>. Pour les multiples, on accole directement la centaine suivante : <em>duecento<\/em> (200), <em>trecento<\/em> (300), <em>quattrocento<\/em> (400), <em>cinquecento<\/em> (500), <em>seicento<\/em> (600), <em>settecento<\/em> (700), <em>ottocento<\/em> (800), <em>novecento<\/em> (900).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vous reconna\u00eetrez ces mots dans la d\u00e9nomination des si\u00e8cles italiens : <em>il Quattrocento<\/em> (le XV<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle, 1400-1499), <em>il Cinquecento<\/em> (le XVI<sup>e<\/sup>), <em>il Settecento<\/em> (le XVIII<sup>e<\/sup>). Au singulier, on dit <em>mille<\/em> (1 000). Au pluriel, la forme devient <em>mila<\/em> : <em>duemila<\/em> (2 000), <em>tremila<\/em> (3 000), <em>diecimila<\/em> (10 000), <em>novantamila<\/em> (90 000). On accole la dizaine ou le chiffre directement devant <em>mila<\/em>, en un seul mot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour les nombres complexes au-del\u00e0 de mille, on assemble par blocs : <em>milleduecento<\/em> (1 200), <em>duemilatrecentocinquantasei<\/em> (2 356). Le tout en un seul \u00e9lan verbal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Point typographique utile : en italien, le point s\u00e9pare les milliers et la virgule marque les d\u00e9cimales, \u00e0 l&#8217;inverse du fran\u00e7ais. <em>1.500<\/em> signifie mille cinq cents, <em>1,5<\/em> signifie un virgule cinq. Dans les textes courants, les nombres jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 dix s&#8217;\u00e9crivent en toutes lettres ; au-del\u00e0, les chiffres arabes sont acceptables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"milione\">Milione et miliardo : les grands nombres en italien<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Milione<\/em> (un million) et <em>miliardo<\/em> (un milliard) fonctionnent diff\u00e9remment des autres <strong>chiffres italiens<\/strong> : ce sont des noms communs, pas des adjectifs. Ils ont un pluriel r\u00e9gulier en <em>-i<\/em> : <em>due milioni<\/em>, <em>tre miliardi<\/em>. Et surtout, ils exigent la pr\u00e9position <em>di<\/em> devant le nom qui les suit : <em>un milione di euro<\/em>, <em>due miliardi di persone<\/em>, <em>cinque milioni di visitatori<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette r\u00e8gle se distingue du reste des <strong>nombres en italien<\/strong>, qui se placent directement avant le nom sans pr\u00e9position. Comparez : <em>duemila euro<\/em> (sans <em>di<\/em>) contre <em>due milioni di euro<\/em> (avec <em>di<\/em>). La ligne est \u00e0 mille : en dessous, pas de pr\u00e9position. Avec <em>milione<\/em> et <em>miliardo<\/em>, toujours avec <em>di<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ordinaux\">Les nombres ordinaux : primo, secondo, -esimo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les nombres ordinaux en italien se divisent en deux groupes. Les dix premiers ont des formes irr\u00e9guli\u00e8res \u00e0 m\u00e9moriser, comme en fran\u00e7ais. \u00c0 partir du onzi\u00e8me, une r\u00e8gle r\u00e9guli\u00e8re prend le relais : on supprime la voyelle finale du cardinal et on ajoute <em>-esimo<\/em>.
