We already introduced the Italian\u00a0imperfetto<\/em><\/a>\u00a0tense and the difference with the passato prossimo<\/em><\/a>\u00a0tense, both belonging to the indicativo <\/em>mood <\/em>(realis mood). We are now going to focus on the imperfetto<\/em> and the four main Italian modal verbs, the “verbi servili”\u00a0dovere<\/em>, potere<\/em>, volere<\/em> and sapere. <\/em>We chose this particular topic because the verbi servili<\/em> are extremely important and their conjugation is irregular in most tenses and moods, not in the imperfetto<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
