Prerequisites
The prerequisites are flexible, we will review some basic structures introduced in Level A2.
- Confident use of passato prossimo and imperfetto: You should be able to comfortably narrate past events, differentiate between completed and ongoing actions.
- Giving advice and making suggestions: You should know how to use the condizionale presente to give advice, make polite requests, and express preferences.
- Expressing opinions and making comparisons: You should be using comparatives and superlatives to express opinions, compare people, places, or things, and articulate preferences.
- Navigating conversations with object pronouns: You should be able to use direct and indirect object pronouns in everyday conversations
- Basic command of imperative mood: You should know how to give instructions and make polite requests using the imperative mood

As the course progresses and the level becomes more complex, students will be encouraged to listen and speak more in Italian, further immersing themselves in the language. Learning materials will be provided in English, while explanations will be given in Italian. However, students will always have the opportunity to ask questions in English if anything is unclear to ensure they fully grasp the material.
Practice sessions and exercises will be conducted exclusively in Italian, offering an immersive experience to build your confidence in speaking and understanding the language.

Get Ready for your Class
Before the Zoom lesson, you’ll need to study the material available on the website. As mentioned, the material is written in English, but the Zoom lesson will be conducted entirely in Italian.
Exercise
A new exercise will be available each week at the bottom of the page. You can take it as many times as you like. Your score will be sent to you via email. The results are private and designed solely to help you improve.
Homework
After the Zoom lesson, you’ll find a dedicated space for homework. You’ll need to write something related to what you’ve just studied. The teacher will correct it, and you’ll receive feedback.
Forum
Group students have access to a private forum where they can discuss, share opinions, ask questions to other students or the teacher.
